About Us

patriciaLiNKS Independent Living Skills (ILS) founder has been employed in the social services field for over 17 years. LiNKS ILS worked in various independent living services settings. Their extensive work history includes experience as a s Independent Living Services (ILS)director; academic planner for a special needs postsecondary support program, director of transition services and supported living services (SLS); activity director in a rehabilitation setting, a special education teacher and youth coach/life skills family assistant for Monterey County wrap around program.

LiNKS ILS have recognized the need to develop and implement a lifeskills training program geared towards individuals who present with traditional and non-traditionally abilities. LiNKS ILS believes in the effectiveness of a person-centered approach to working with all children. We individualize our program to meet the needs of every individual that we work with. We want to see the next generation living in their and respecting their communities, working towards and achieving their dreams. We will listen, provide a service of choice, be flexible in meeting changing needs and wishes and support them to become more independent. We are passionate about helping each one of our clients transition into a more independent life.
